Revolving Scholarship

Applications Due: Rolling — applications must be submitted by the 10th of the month to be considered for an award the following month.

The SCSC Revolving Scholarship is designed for post–high-school students pursuing educational goals off-cycle from the traditional school or SCSC board year.

This scholarship supports students who are:
• Enrolled in a less-than-full course load at an accredited college, university, technical school, trade school, or military academy,
• Pursuing a licensure or certification program that does not follow a traditional academic timeline, or
• Working toward a post-graduate degree on a part-time basis (for example, one or two courses at a time).

Recipients will be notified of results by email by the end of the month in which the application is reviewed. Awards are granted without regard to race, color, creed, religion, or disability.

Limitations for Award Recipients
1. Time Period for Use of Scholarship Funds – Funds must be used between Fall 2025 and the last summer session of 2026. Applicants may apply for either a revolving scholarship or one of the traditional academic scholarships, but only one SCSC scholarship may be awarded per board year (June 2025 – May 2026).
2. Award Acceptance Form – Must be returned by email within one week of notification. If not received, the award will be considered unclaimed, and funds will be returned to the SCSC Scholarship Fund.
3. Scholarship Payment – Payment is awarded directly to the recipient by the SCSC. The maximum award amount is $500.
4. Appropriate Use of Scholarship Funds – Funds must be used for tuition, fees, books, or other educational expenses at an accredited college, university, technical school, trade school, or military academy, or for course fees, books, licensure, or certification expenses.

Applications Open during the SCSC board year (June 2025 – May 2026).
